Daniel Ginczek (* April 13, 1991 in Arnsberg ) is a German football player of Polish descent.

Career

Clubs

Ginczek joined us in 2007 in the youth team of Borussia Dortmund where she completed the 2007/08 season with 26 goals from 25 games as top scorer in the U-17 league. The following season he joined the second team of Borussia Dortmund in the third league. His debut in professional football was Ginczek on 28 July 2009 in a 0-0 draw against Eintracht Braunschweig II of Dortmund. In the season 2011/12 Ginczek, who had a valid contract with Borussia Dortmund until 2014, was loaned for a year at VfL Bochum. In the 2012/13 season he played again on loan at FC St. Pauli, in which he scored 18 goals in 31 games.

For the 2013/14 season changed Ginczek 1 FC Nuremberg. He signed with the Franks a contract until 30 June 2016. During his Bundesliga debut on August 10, 2013 against TSG Hoffenheim Ginczek scored the 2-2 draw, marking his first Bundesliga goal for the " Club".

On February 8, 2014 Ginczek suffered in the home game against Bayern Munich without any external assistance a torn ACL and thus falls of at least half a year.

National

Although there had been efforts of the Polish Football Association, Ginczek, whose grandparents come from Silesia to win for the Polish national team, he went through all the youth teams of the DFB. For the U- 21 team Ginczek has played in six games and scoring two goals. Together with Michael Pröls he managed to get the up to now available record of 43 goals in a Junior World Championship in the U -15 team of the DFB.
