Daniele Barbaro

Daniele Barbaro ( Daniele Matteo Alvise Barbaro; Barbarigo, Barberigo ( the - igo suffix is typically Venetian )) ( born February 8, 1513 Venice, † April 13, 1570 in Venice) was a Venetian scientists and politicians, since December 17, 1550 Patriarch of Aquileia. Life

He was the son of Francesco Barbaro ( ✝ 1549), Podesta of Verona and Senator of the Republic of Venice and Elena Pisani. Barbaro studied at the University of Padua, philosophy, mathematics and optics. Work
