Daniele Contrini

Daniele Contarini ( born August 15, 1974 in Gardone Val Trompia ) is an Italian former racing cyclist.

Daniele Contarini began his career in 1995 with Brescialat. He went there for four years and then moved to Liquigas. In 2002 he went to the German team Gerolsteiner. For this team, he won a stage of the 2003 Sachsen-Tour for themselves. As of 2004, drove Contarini for the Swiss cycling team LPR. During the 2005 season, he won the French one-day race Route Adélie and a stage of the Tour de Picardie. His biggest success was the victory on the second stage of the Tour de Suisse 2006.
