Tinkoff Credit Systems
History
The crew took off in 2005 as Tinkoff restaurants on the UCI Europe Tour part and initially had the status of a Continental team. Team boss was the owner of the restaurant chain, Oleg Tinkow.
As of 2007, took over the bank also founded in 2006 by Tinkow " Tinkoff Credit Systems", which focuses on the credit card business, the sponsorship of the team. The cycling team was invited to participate in the 2007 Giro d'Italia via wildcard. At the end of the 2008 season the team was disbanded.
2009, a new cycling team Katusha was founded on the basis of Tinkoff team, who received a ProTeam license. To Katjuscha include not only the professional team more cycling teams for rail, Cyclocross, women's cycling, as well as the farm team Katyusha Continental Team and Itera - Katusha.
