Alberto Loddo
Alberto Loddo ( born January 5, 1979 in Cagliari ) is an Italian racing cyclist.
Alberto Loddo began his professional career in 2002 with the Italian cycling team Lampre. He was able to win early in the season a stage of the Tour of Qatar. He repeated this success the following year and decided this time also the overall standings for themselves. He also won a stage of the Tour of Algarve in the same year. From 2004, he drove a year for Spanish team Saunier Duval- Prodir. Since 2006 Loddo riding for the Colombian Professional Continental Team Selle Italia Diquigiovanni. He won a stage in the Vuelta al Tachira and a Cycliste the Circuit Sarthe. At the Giro d' Italia 2006, the Sprinter was seen in the mass arrivals at the front, his best result was a third place at the fourth stage.
Because of an increased amount of caffeine Alberto Loddo was punished according to the Algarve tour with a month barrier and a payment of 2,000 Swiss francs in 2003.
After Loddo was no team for the 2011 season, he finished his career as a professional cyclist.
