Vuelta a La Rioja
The Vuelta a la Rioja (La Rioja tour) is a Spanish cycling race.
The stage race in the region of La Rioja in 1957 was held for the first time and place since then, with few exceptions, held annually. Originally the race time in September, but now the tour has been moved to the end of April. Since 2005, one of the race for the UCI Europe Tour and is classified in category 2.1. So far only won four foreign drivers, including the German Reimund Dietzen. Record winner, the Spaniard Jesus Manzanque. Since 2009, the race will be held as a one-day races and is classified in category 1.1.
