Mikhail Ignatiev (cyclist)

Mikhail Borisovich Ignatiev (Russian: Михаил Борисович Игнатьев; born May 7, 1985) is a Russian cyclist.

Sports career

Ignatiev is also on the track very successful. In 2002 and 2003 he was a total of four times Junior World Champion and European Champion. He also drove at Chatunzew with Alexander and Nikolai Trussow. In 2004 he drove a his biggest success. At the Olympic Games in Athens, he referred as a 19- year-old in the points race the reigning Olympic champion Joan Llaneras and Guido Fulst to the places.

Honors

Ignatiev was honored with induction into the Hall of Fame of the European Cycling Union Union Européenne de Cyclisme.
