Joan Llaneras

Joan Llaneras Rosselló ( born May 17, 1969) is a Spanish cyclist.

Joan Llaneras was for the first time in 1996 UCI Track Cycling World Champion in the points race. This title he repeated in 1998 and in 2000. Moreover, he was second in 2003 and won in 1997 and 2005 the bronze medal. At the 2000 Olympics in Sydney he was in the points race Olympic champion and four years later he won the silver medal.

In Madison Llaneras in 1997 for the first time world champion Miguel Alzamora. Then he went with Isaac Gálvez, until it died as a result of a fall in the Six Days of Ghent in November 2006. With him it was 1999 and 2006 world champion and 2000 and 2001 Vice World Champion.
