Daniyar Akhmetov

Danijar Jermekowitsch Akhmetov (Russian Данияр Ермекович Ахметов; born March 30, 1988 in Karaganda, Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh professional ice hockey player who stands since 2009 at Barys Astana in the Kontinental Hockey League contract and plays for the second team in the Kazakh Cup.

Career

Danijar Akhmetov began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of Karaganda Kasachmys, for the first team, he was active in the Kazakh Cup from 2004 to 2006. The association remained the defender in the season 2006/ 07 obtained after it had been relocated to Sätbajew and renamed Kasachmys Satpajew. For Satpajew he played this season in both the Wysschaja League, the second Russian league, as well as in the Kazakh Cup, as well as for the second team in the third-rate Russian Perwaja league.

The season 2007/ 08 spent Akhmetov at Barys Astana, for which he ran aground in parallel in the Perwaja league in the Wysschaja League, as well as for the second team. There followed a year in which Wysschaja League rivals Sary- Arka Karaganda HK, before he returned to the 2009/10 season to Barys Astana. There, however, he could not for use in the KHL team recommend, but was instead only in the Kazakh Cup on the ice.

Internationally

For Akhmetov of Kazakhstan took part in the U18 Junior B World Cup 2006, as well as the U20 Junior B World Championships in 2006 and 2007 in part. In the 2007 U20 B Championship with his country, he managed to climb into the top division. Overall, he was in 15 junior internationals two assists.
