Danny McGrain

Danny McGrain, actually Daniel Fergus McGrain ( born May 1, 1950 in Glasgow ) is a former professional football player ( central defender ) and played for Celtic FC

He also completed 62 caps for Scotland and was a participant at the World Championships in 1974 and, as captain, in 1982.

In 1974 was diagnosed with diabetes at him, making him but did not stop to continue his professional career.

Although he was a supporter of Rangers FC as a child and was also observed by this club, he was not committed by the Rangers, as its name suggesting that he was a Catholic. However, McGrain was a Protestant.

So he won at Celtic greatest respect and completed 661 games for Celtic. Place 4 on the eternal list of assignments.
