Hamilton Academical F.C.

Hamilton Academical ( officially: Hamilton Academical Football Club ) is a professional football club from Hamilton, Scotland. The club was founded in 1874.

The Accies play since 2001 in the stadium New Douglas Park, which was built on the site of the old Douglas Park and 1888-1994 home of Hamilton was. 1971 aroused the club international attention when he took to the obligation of three Polish players the first team from the UK football players from the Eastern Bloc under contract. 2008 the club after 20 years managed to return to the top flight, the Scottish Premier League.
