Danny Philliskirk

Daniel " Danny" Philliskirk (* April 10, 1991 in Oldham ) is an English footballer who is since 2013 in Coventry City under contract.

Career

Association

Daniel Philliskirk began his career in the youth of Oldham Athletic. In summer 2007, he joined the youth academy of Chelsea FC and signed a four year contract there. The Academy team, he was captain in the 2008 /09 season and took his leave for the reserve team. In August 2010, he was awarded for a month at Oxford United and was a few days later, his debut with the 0-0 draw against Burton Albion. But this was his only game Philliskirk and then returned to Chelsea.

In January 2011, it borrowed from Sheffield United for a month, but later the loan period has been set to the end of the season. By mid- April, he had to wait until he came in the second half for his first league appearance for Sheffield against Preston North End. Then, a contract for the 2011/12 season he was offered. After his contract at Chelsea in June 2011, he moved to the end of his contract permanently to Sheffield United.

From October to December 2011, he played on loan at Oxford United and played four league games. After Philliskirk was released at Sheffield United, he signed a contract in February 2013 until July 2013 at Coventry City. However, after only one game was in April that his expiring contract is not renewed.

During the summer break coached at Doncaster Rovers.

National

Philliskirk denied 2007, three caps for the English U-17 national team.

Daniel Philliskirk is the son of Anthony Philliskirk, this played three years for the Bolton Wanderers and scored there over fifty gates. In Oldham Athletic he was trained by his father.
