Dany Luis Quintero

Danis Luis " Dany " Quintero Chevans ( born December 10, 1984 in Cienfuegos ) is a Cuban soccer goalkeeper.

Quintero was active for FC Cienfuegos in his home country, with the 2008 and 2009 he won the national championship, and played in the Cuban national team. In 2002 he was part of the Cuban U-20 squad, as qualifying for the Junior World Championship was just missed in 2003. He subsequently moved on to the A national team and finished with the team at the Caribbean Nations Cup 2007 third place. During the subsequent 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup, he was substitute goalkeeper, standing in four games of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers in the Tor Cuba. Also in the CFU Caribbean Cup 2008, he was part of the squad, as the Cuban national team again for the CONCACAF Gold Cup qualifying by a fourth place, the Cuban Association, the team came back, however, from the final competition.

Since July 2009, he was looking for a new home club, among others via YouTube, after he had separated from the national team during a training camp in Germany. Briefly, he trained with the Portuguese club CA Valdevez. In February 2010 it was announced that the SV Nollingen, Kreisligist from the German circle League B High Rhine, have signed goalkeeper. To return round start on March 7, 2010 in a catch-up game at SV Herten in Rheinfelden, he stood for the first time in goal for the Südbadener. In the summer of 2012, he then left the SV Nollingen and joined the Association of South Baden League division SV Weil on. After settling in the first three months but only as a substitute goalkeeper pushed the bank, he returned to SV Nollingen on 20 September 2012. After initially studying in the summer of 2013 caused wanted to take a break, he decided on 19 June 2013 a change to the district league FSV Rheinfelden.
