Dariusz Kubicki

Dariusz Kubicki ( born June 6, 1963 in Kożuchów, Poland ) is a former Polish footballer and football coach.

Club career as a player

Dariusz Kubicki began his career as a defender in Poland, where he played for the clubs FKS Stal Mielec and Legia Warsaw.

In 1991 he moved to England to Aston Villa and played later even at Sunderland AFC, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Tranmere Rovers, Carlisle United and Darlington FC.

National team career as a player

Dariusz Kubicki played 46 A- international matches for the Polish national football team and participated in the 1986 World Cup.

Career as a coach

As a coach Dariusz Kubicki worked for Legia Warsaw, the city rivals Polonia Warszawa, Górnik Łęczna, Lechia Gdańsk and Znicz Pruszków. From January 2013 he was coach at League Podbeskidzie Bielsko- Biala. After only four games, he left the club but again to accept a lucrative offer from abroad. He signed a Zweieinhalbjahesvertrag the Russian second division side Sibir Novosibirsk.
