In Frankfurt, he is known as the creator of the artwork 's "Space of Time ", which adorns the main entrance of the Commerzbank Tower on Kaiser Platz as a permanent installation.

Dave's artistic style is based on the idea that an object viewed from different perspectives, can look completely different. Be designed this so that a three-dimensional relief with fragments of various two-dimensional images is painted in its simplest form. Viewed from a certain position, the visual fragments put together into complete designs. If the observer moves, the anamorphic illusions fall apart again and the image is abstract. The gesamtkunstwerkliche aspect of the works become more heavily weighted than the individual motifs. Thus included Dave's works, which he called " mergers ", often a variety of different artistic styles and techniques: a " fusion " can be both readily a sculpture, a classic portrait, an action painting and a performance.

His work has been exhibited, among others in Berlin, Basel, New York, Frankfurt and Cannes.
