Steven David "Dave" Brown ( born January 16, 1953 in Akron, Ohio, † 10 January 2006 in Lubbock, Texas) was an US- American football player and coach. He played on the position of the cornerbacks 15 years in the National Football League ( NFL) and won with the Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl X.

Life

Born in Ohio, Brown began his football career in the East High School in Akron and continued this in college football at the University of Michigan continues.

In the National Football League ( NFL) Brown played for the first time in the Championship team of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1975. Early in the next season he played for the Seattle Seahawks, where he spent eleven years. In 1986, Brown to the Green Bay Packers and finished his career in 1990. As a coach, he served from 1992 to 1998 at the Seattle Seahawks. In 1984, he set a NFL record with two interceptions for touchdowns in the game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brown died in 2006 in Lubbock, Texas of a heart attack, six days before his birthday dreiundfünzigsten. He left behind his wife Rhonda and two sons.

Awards

Brown once played in the Pro Bowl and he was elected twice to the All- Pro. 1992 took him to the Seahawks in Seattle Seahawks Ring of Honor. In 2007 he was admitted posthumously inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
