Davey Barr

Davey Barr ( born March 3, 1977 in Vancouver ) is a Canadian freestyle skier. He specializes in the discipline of ski cross.

Biography

Barr was the beginning of his career in sport of alpine ski racer and a participated in races in Nor- Am Cup. He scored his best result on 23 February 1997 with the fourth place in the slalom of Banff. In FIS races he stood on the podium 15 times, but could never win. His last alpine ski races he contested in January 1998, after which he moved to the ski cross.

His debut in the Freestyle World Cup had Barr on 23 November 2003 in Saas -Fee, where he finished 26th and won the first World Cup points. The best result in his debut season was a 10th place in the following season 2004/05 5th Place. Added to this was at the Winter X Games 2005, winning a silver medal in the discipline Ultra Cross.
