David Borrow

David Borrow ( born August 2, 1952 in Huddersfield) is a British politician and Member of Parliament in the House of Commons for the constituency of South Ribble.

Life

Borrow spent his school years at Mirfield Grammar School. He then studied at Lanchester Polytechnic (now Coventry University) economics. In 1970 he was a member of the Labour Party and began in 1973 training at the Yorkshire Bank. In Preston 1987 he was a member of the City Council, which he headed from 1992 to 1995 and from 1995 to 1998. 1998 Barrow was first elected as an MP and re-elected in the general elections each for South Riddle.
