David Clennon

David Clennon ( born May 10, 1943 in Waukegan, Illinois ) is an American actor.

Life

Clennon attended the mid-1960s the University of Notre Dame, where he participated in theater productions of King Lear, The Caretaker and The Threepenny Opera. He later moved to New York City, where he performed, among others, in off-Broadway productions.

His film debut was in 1973 with a supporting role in James Bridges' drama The Paper Chase with Timothy Bottoms, Lindsay Wagner, and John Houseman. He was in the period following a name as a character actor in movies and TV films.

For a guest appearance in the TV series Dream On 1990 he was awarded an Emmy Award. His portrayal of the geologist Dr. Lee Silver in the miniseries From the Earth to the Moon earned him a 1998 Golden Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Clennon lives with his wife and two children in Los Angeles.
