David Forde (footballer)

David Forde ( born December 20, 1979 in Galway) is an Irish football goalkeeper.

Career

David Forde comes from the youth his home club Galway United and played there from 1999 in the first team. In his second year he was already goalkeeper. There was a brief interlude in the Welsh club Barry Town before he was taken in early 2002 by the English second division club West Ham United. There, however, he could not establish itself and was instead loaned only to Derry City and later at the Barnet FC.

In 2004 he returned to Galway back in 2005, he moved to Derry City and was with the club in 2005 Irish runner-up, the following year they repeated the placement and also won the Irish Cup competition.

As of 2007, it then tried the Irish goalie in several attempts at Cardiff City, Luton Town and AFC Bournemouth again in English football before he finally came to the Millwall FC 2008.
