David Huffman

David Huffman ( born May 10, 1945 in Berwyn, Illinois, † 27 February 1985 in San Diego, California ) was an American actor who was active both in theater and in television movies and on Broadway. He was married to Phyllis Huffman and was assassinated in 1985.

Murder

Huffman was murdered by a thief in San Diego. He discovered the 16 -year-old Genaro Samano Villanueva, who had just broken into a caravan. He chased him in Balboa Park, where Villanueva stabbed him with a screwdriver. 1986 Villa Nueva, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, was sentenced to a prison term of 26 years. Huffman had played a week later in the series North and South. In December 2011, Villanueva was denied a pardon for the next 15 years.
