David Miller (ice hockey)

Engelbert David Miller ( * December 15, 1925 in Wilkie, Saskatchewan, † October 8, 1996 in Victoria, British Columbia) was a Canadian ice hockey player. At the Olympic Winter Games in 1952 he won the gold medal as a member of the Canadian national team.

Career

David Miller began his career as a hockey player in a number of youth leagues in Alberta. He served during the Second World War in the Canadian Army and played hockey in England. With the Edmonton Mercurys in 1952, he represented Canada at the Olympic Winter Games.

Internationally

For Canada, Miller participated in the Olympic Winter Games in 1952 in part in Oslo, where he won the gold medal with his team. In eight games, he scored ten goals and two assists.
