David Josué Jiménez Silva, short David Silva ( born January 8, 1986 in Arguineguin, Gran Canaria, Spain ) is a Spanish football player. He plays for the English first division club Manchester City.

Club career

David Silva came at the age of 14 years to FC Valencia. In the second team of FC Valencia he played his first club game in the Segunda División B. In the following season he played at SD Eibar in the Spanish Segunda División on loan. In 35 games, the midfielder scored five goals.
