Davis Drewiske

Davis Drewiske ( born November 22, 1984 in Hudson, Wisconsin ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since April 2013 in the Montreal Canadiens in the National Hockey League under contract and currently for their farm team, the Hamilton Bulldogs in the American Hockey League.

Career

Drewiske Davis began his career as a hockey player with the Des Moines Buccaneers, where he was active in the 2003/04 season in the United States Hockey League. He then played four years for the team from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, before he was towards the end of the 2007/08 season his debut in professional hockey for the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League. Then he received on 1 April 2008 as a free agent contract with the Los Angeles Kings, where he first came in the 2008 /09 season in the National Hockey League action. He had three assists in 17 games. The majority of the playing time he spent, however, in their farm team in the AHL, the Manchester Monarchs. His first goal in the NHL scored the links Sagittarius on 6 October 2009 at the 6-4 victory over the San Jose Sharks.

On April 2, 2013, was transferred to the Montréal Canadiens.
