Dayton Jets (ice hockey)

The Dayton Jets were an American ice hockey franchise of the All- American Hockey League from Dayton, Ohio.

History

The Dayton Jets were recorded in 1985 as an expansion team in the Continental Hockey League, which disbanded a year later. The team then took to the 1986/87 season as one of five founding members of the match operation in its successor League All- American Hockey League. In her only season the Jets reached 27 points in 32 games and finished fourth after the regular season. Subsequently, the franchise was merged with the League rival Troy Sabres and played from now on under the name Miami Valley Sabres.
