Daytona Beach Breakers

The Daytona Beach Sun Devils were an American ice hockey franchise in the Sunshine Hockey League from Daytona Beach, Florida.

History

The franchise took to the 1992/93 season under the name Daytona Beach Sun Devils as one of five founding members of the operation of gambling in the Sunshine Hockey League on. In this, the Devils never got beyond the first playoff round. For the 1995/96 season the Sun Devils changed their name to Daytona Beach Breakers and also the league changed its name to Southern Hockey League. After the season, was eliminated in the Daytona Beach for the third time in four years in the first playoff round, the Southern Hockey League was dissolved and the team from Daytona Beach hired the operation of gambling.
