Deathbound

Death Bound is a Finnish Death Grind band from Vaasa, which was founded in 1995 under the name Twilight, is renamed Unbound and eventually gave its present name.

History

The band was founded in 1995 under the name of Twilight. After the band released their first two demos Twilight and Melancholy of Northern Landscapes, they changed their name into Unbound. Then, the band released another demo called Flames of Madness. The band changed their name then to Death Bound. In 2000, the demo Elaborate the Torture appeared. The band reached a contract with Woodcut Records and released their debut album there To Cure the Sane with Insanity in 2003. According to the publication, the group signed a contract with Dynamic Arts Records and released in 2005, there second album Doomsday Comfort. In addition, the band played concerts with groups such as Demilich, Cult of Luna and Dismember. The next album, joined in 2007 with We Deserve Much Worse on. In addition, a tour followed with Napalm Death and The Scourger. In 2009, the band recorded several new songs that appeared on a split release with Coldworker. The recordings were released on Power It Up Records. In 2010, appeared on Dynamic Arts Records with Non Compos Mentis their fourth album. In February 2010, the band made ​​a tour of Europe starting with Demonical and My Own Grave.

Style

The band plays a mix of Death Metal and Grindcore aggressive, wherein the speed of the songs is kept consistently high. Is comparable to the band with groups such as Nasum, Ultrawurscht, The Arson Project, and Rotten Sound.
