Decalogue X

Decalogue, Ten is a Polish television movie from the year 1989. As the tenth part of the Decalogue series director Krzysztof Kieślowski of the film deals with the Tenth Commandment Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house.

Content

Two brothers meet again after many years, since her father died. Her father left the two a huge collection of stamps, which have a large value. However, the brothers did not know this at first, and want to get rid of them. When they find it, they realize that they do not really know her father. Now that they feel closer to him, they want the collection of her father 's life's work, no longer sell but retain and complete the collection. They constantly encounter scammers and fake her father's colleagues who are trying to get to the collection. When the brothers find out that a very valuable stamp is missing, one of the brothers gives her his kidney to exchange them in a roundabout way against the stamp. But during surgery someone breaks into her home and steals the stamp collection.

Criticism
