Del the Funky Homosapien
Del Tha Funkee Homosapien Del the Funky Homosapien often ( born August 12, 1972 in Oakland, California as Teren Delvon Jones ), also known under the pseudonym Deltron, is an American rapper. He was especially known for its innovative, experimental and humorous style.
Career
Jones began his career as a lyricist for Da Lench Mob, the band project of his cousin Ice Cube. In 1991, he released his first solo album, I Wish My Brother George Was Here ( with the hit Mistadobalina ), which was produced by Ice Cube.
The following publication No Need For Alarm 1994 was made without Ice Cube. The album was not a commercial success, which is why his record company Elektra Records of Jones parted. He founded his own record label Hiero Imperium, then on the album Future Development was published in 1998.
As a member of the group Hieroglyphics he was one of the rapper and producer of the album 3rd Eye Vision. The album was well received by both critics and by the fans.
His fourth album Both Sides of the Brain was published in 2000.
In the same year Del Deltron 3030 founded. Along with Dan the Automator and Kid Koala takes over the part of the fictional hero Del Deltron Zero. Deltron 3030 is intended to represent a futuristic band from the year 3030 and is considered a forerunner of the band Gorillaz, in which Del also occurs.
