Delano Hill

Delano Hill ( born April 25, 1975 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch football player. It also has the Surinamese nationality.

Career

His career began in the 1.91 m wide left-back at Neptunus Rotterdam and PSV Eindhoven. He moved in 1995 to FC Den Bosch, where he played only one year and then moved to RKC Waalwijk. About Willem II Tilburg he came in the summer of 2001 to Hansa Rostock, where he played in the Bundesliga. Hansa had for him two million DM (about 1.02 million euros ) in Tilburg. In his first season, Hill played 21 times in the Bundesliga. In the first round the following season only four times. His coach Armin Veh complained that he was not forced upon in training. Once, however, Jochen Kientz injured and Michal Kovar no longer convinced he fought his way to a permanent place in Hansas defense. Over the next year and a half seasons, Hill was missing only two games. In four seasons with the Mecklenburg Hill came on 96 Bundesliga matches and scored three goals. After the descent of Rostock in the season 2004/ 05 Hill left the club despite the current contract and went for 400,000 euros transfer fee in the Austrian Bundesliga Austria Wien. With Vienna, he won the 2006 Austrian Championship and the Cup, but has been used only sporadically.

In January 2007, Hill returned to Willem II Tilburg, before he moved to one and a half years and 35 games in the summer of 2008 to Qatar with Al- Wakrah SC.
