The Delfzijl railway station is a terminal station on the railway line Groningen- Delfzijl in the Dutch province of Groningen. He is the most important railway station of Delfzijl and was opened on 15 June 1884.

History

Previously perverted and trains on the railway line Zuidbroek - Delfzijl (1910-1934) and over the Woldjerspoor about Duurswold to Groningen ( 1929-1941 ).

Station

In December 2009, a covered bike shed was built.

Station building

The station building in the so-called standard type Sneek was built in the 1880s at five different locations. Of these, nor get in Delfzijl, Sneek and Tiel.
