Demolition (professional wrestling)

Demolition was a wrestling tag team, which was mainly active in the World Wrestling Federation from 1987. The team was allowed during this time three times hold the WWF World Tag Team titles and reached among fans cult status today.

WWF time

1983 entered the members of the new Tag Teams The Road Warriors the stage of wrestling and found by their brutal wrestling style, as well as revolutionary outfits with the fans immense appeal. Demolition outside the WWF

Eadie occurred after recovery on an independent level as Axis the Demolisher and teamed again with the "original" Smash Randy Colley, and a third man, Demolition Blast ( Carmine Azza ) as Demolition. In Eadie got into a dispute with the WWF on the use of the Demolition gimmick, which he ultimately lost.

On 29 September 2007 Eadie and Darsow came back after 16 years as Demolition in United States Xtreme Wrestling on, there won the Tag Team Titles and held them until the closure of the league.

Ax

Demolition Ax (* December 27, 1947 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania as William Eadie ) is an American professional wrestler.

Eadie studied to become a teacher and worked as a sports, psychology and history teacher in East Liverpool and Cambridge, Ohio. After he was discovered at an event in Pittsburgh for the wrestling and trained by Newton Tattrie, also known as Geto Mongol, he made his debut in 1973. A Japan Tour in the same year finally opened him the opportunity to work with his trainer for the first time. Nikolai Volkoff had failed as Beppo Mongol, so they gave him the ring name Bolo Mongol and they stood as day on the team.

In September 1976 Eadie went their own way and began a career as a single wrestler. He developed the gimmick of the Masked Superstar, an alleged former Olympian, went way but still occasionally referred to as Bolo Mongol on. The character of the Masked Superstar to perform very well and Eadie was so until 1985 in the National Wrestling Alliance and the World Wrestling Federation successfully. In 1986, he was a Super Machine part of the storyline to the suspension of Andre the Giant and his feud with Bobby Heenan grouping. In 1987 Demolition was created and Eadie was three times hold the WWF World Tag Team title. Today Eadie working again as a teacher and occasionally occurs in legend events.

Smash

Demolition Smash ( born October 6, 1959 in Minneapolis, Minnesota as Barry Darsow ) is an American professional wrestler.

Darsow worked with Richard Rood, Michael Hegstrand and Joseph Laurinaitis as a bouncer when they were discovered and trained by Eddie Sharkey wrestling coaches. He debuted in 1984 and initially got the gimmick of an American who was who defected to the Soviets. The first major successes came one when he worked under the ring name Krusher Kruschev together with Ivan Koloff and Nikita Koloff. 1987 was a replacement for Randy Colley was required as part of the new team Demolition in the World Wrestling Federation and as Darsow was a WWF wrestler unknown audience, he got the position. Under the name Smash he was allowed to win the WWF World Tag Team Championship three times.

From 1991, he teamed with the contracted for the diseased Ax Crush. After the team was completely dissolved, he was given a new gimmick. He now appeared as a Repo Man, a devious villain, but had only moderate success in this role. After leaving the WWF, and a short time in independent leagues, Darsow came to WCW. Here he appeared as The Blacktop Bully and denied a feud against Dustin Rhodes program. After their battle with the big event Uncensored he was dismissed for unauthorized Bladings. After another period in independent leagues, he came back in 1997 under his real name for WCW and remained there until 1999, but played no prominent role. After several appearances at independent operators, guest appearances in WWE, as well as a brief resuscitation of Demolition, Darsow is retired from wrestling. He makes up today few guest appearances on Legend events, but focuses mainly on his company, a printing company.
