Dennis Brinkmann

Dennis Brinkmann ( born November 22, 1978 in Essen) is a former German football player and current coach. The midfielder acted mostly as a defensive midfielder.

His twin brother Tim Brinkmann plays since 2000 in the Football Oberliga Westfalen at FC Gütersloh 2000 and there is team captain.

Career

In youth Brinkmann played at various clubs in the Ruhr. His first club in the men's area was Borussia Dortmund, where he played in the second team in 1998/99.

From 1998 to 2003 Brinkmann stood at Rot-Weiss Essen under contract, where he played in the top and Regional. After food had just missed the 2003 ascent to the 2nd Bundesliga, Brinkmann joined the second division Alemannia Aachen.

There he saw at first only as " alternative ", but in its first second-division season he soon made ​​the jump into the starting eleven of the strong playing Alemannia, the missed only by a defeat on the final day by one point promotion to the first division. Together with players like Frank Paul and Emmanuel Krontiris stood Brinkmann for the so-called " new Alemannia " and scored in 29 league games four league goals. For Aachen Brinkmann denied a total of 54 second-division games and played seven games in the UEFA Cup 2004/05. It was thanks to its flexibility, a fixture in the defense of Alemannia. Coaching career

During his time as a player graduated Brinkmann first coach exams. After his career end Brinkmann committed first volunteer at the ESG 99/ 06 Food in the youth field. For the 2013/2014 season Brinkmann finally signed a contract until 2016 as an assistant coach of the second team of VfL Bochum in the Regionalliga West.

Private

After graduation, he joined the first training in wholesale and foreign trade merchant and later the sports management degree with a bachelor successfully.
