Denny Herzig

Denny Herzig ( born November 13, 1984 in Pössneck ) is a German football player.

Career

Herzig comes from the youth of the FC Carl Zeiss Jena, from the common with his older brother Nico, he moved to the youth department of the English second division side FC Wimbledon after his high-school diploma in 2001. After Herzig had played one and a half years for the Blackpool FC, he returned in 2004 with his brother to Germany and joined the second division Wacker Burghausen.

From 2006 to 2009 he played in the regional league SV Elversberg. In the season 2009/10 he was team captain at Rot-Weiss Essen. After his bankruptcy, he signed for season 2010/11, a one-year contract with the third division side Dynamo Dresden. After his contract was not renewed at the same townspeople, Herzig moved to the 2011/12 season to the third division Eintracht Trier. His contract expired in the summer of 2012; since he keeps fit with FC Carl Zeiss Jena.
