Nico Herzig

Nico Herzig ( born December 10, 1983 in Pössneck ) is a German football player.

Career

Nico Herzig went at the age of 17 years with his brother Denny Herzig to England where he played for FC Wimbledon. He then moved to SV Wacker Burghausen, where he was employed as a defender. He joined the 2006/07 season free transfer to the Tivoli for Bundesliga Alemannia Aachen, where he played as a regular player 27 Bundesliga games. For the 2008/09 season Herzig moved to Arminia Bielefeld and returned to a game time Alemannia. Since the season 2011/12 Herzig plays at third division Wehen, where he signed a two-year contract, which he extended in 2013 for another year. He is also third in the league season 2013/14 Captain of the SVWW.
