Dermbach (Verwaltungsgemeinschaft)

In the administration of Community Dermbach from the Thuringian Wartburg district, eight municipalities and one city have come together to perform their administrative business. Office of the Management Community is Dermbach.

History

The management community was formed in 1992 from the communities Dermbach and Zella / Rhön. In 1994 it was extended to the communities Neidhartshausen, Wiesenthal, Urnshausen and Brunnhartshausen, Oechsen and Weilar. Through the Thuringian law for voluntary reorganization circle, national communities in 2013, the city Stadtlengsfeld entered December 31, 2013 in the administrative community, reducing their population increased to almost 10,000 residents.
