Desmond Harrington

Desmond Harrington (* 19 October 1976 in Savannah, Georgia) is an American actor in movies such as The Hole ( 2001) and Ghost Ship (2002) and the series Taken ( 2002) was known.

Life and works

When Harrington was three years old, his family moved back from Savannah in the Bronx borough of New York City. He attended for 12 years, the Catholic Primary School St Margaret of Cotorna and also Catholic High School Fordham Prep. As a hyperactive child Desmond had permanent trouble in and out of school. After high school, Harrington attended Manhattan College, but was thrown out after just six weeks. Without any perspective Harrington initially took some smaller jobs in the city until an agent persuaded him to attend drama school. Harrington was thus a suitable environment for his hyperactive behavior.

He got 1999 Luc Besson film of Joan of Arc, in which he portrayed the character of Aulon His first role. This film meant for him to break in Hollywood. In the period from 2000 to 2004, he received additional roles in films such as We Were Soldiers, The Hole, The Move with guys Wrong Turn and Ghost Ship. It has its continued success, inter alia, participation in shows like Taken, Dragnet (LA Dragnet ) and Rescue Me owe.

Followed in 2006 by the film Bottoms Up with Jason Mewes and the series Sons & Daughters. From 2008 to 2013 he played the role of Joey Quinn in the television series Dexter.
