Deutscher Science Fiction Preis

The German Science Fiction Prize has been awarded annually since 1985 by the Science Fiction Club Germany ( SFCD ) and is the most prestigious award for science-fiction literature in Germany.

From the beginning, was devoted to SFCD also the German science fiction and began to excel selected works with the club seal so-called.

Since 1985, the SFCD draws from the best German-language novel and the best German -language short story of the previous year. A prize committee decides on the allocation of the German Science Fiction Prize. Every year, it has the task to read all the texts published in the previous calendar year and evaluate.
