Devin Hoff

Devin Hoff is an American jazz and improvisation musician (double bass, electric bass).

Life and work

Hoff worked since the late 1990s in the jazz scene of San Francisco Ua with Mahanaim Satya and founded the early 2000s with Ches Smith, the experimental duo Good for Cows. In addition, he also worked among others with Carla Kihlstedt, Vijay Iyer, Mary Halvorson, Jessica Pavone ( Calling All Portraits 2008), Ken Vandermark, Scott Amendola, Nels Cline and Ben Goldberg, with rock and folk bands. In the field of jazz, he was involved 1999-2012 to 37 recording sessions.
