Dexter Pittman

Dexter Jerome Pittman ( born March 2, 1988 in Rosenberg, Texas ) is an American professional basketball player.

Career

College

In his first two seasons for Texas he put on less than 3 points per game and also played only one time from the start. In his third year, he started in 24 games, managed 10 points and 5.5 rebounds per game and has become one of the most dominant center in the Big 12 Conference.

NBA

When NBA Draft 2010 Pittman was chosen as the 32nd overall pick by the Miami Heat. Because he does not quite live up to expectations of the team, he was sent for a time to the farm team of the Heat, the Sioux Falls Skyforce. In February 2013 Pittman was transferred from the Heat to the Memphis Grizzlies. End of September 2013 Pittman moved to the Chicago Bulls. On October 26, 2013 it was announced that the Chicago Bulls waived Pittman.
