Didier de Radiguès

Didier de Radiguès ( born March 27, 1958 in Leuven, Flanders, Belgium) is a Belgian motorcycle and automobile racing driver.

Career

Radiguès began his career as a motorcycle racer. For the 1988 season, he joined the Marlboro Yamaha team, which was led by Giacomo Agostini and there replaced Eddie Lawson. As a motorcycle racer, he won four Grand Prix and stood on the podium 14 times. His biggest success was the Vice World Champion title in 1982 in the class up to 350 cc behind Toni Mang.

In 1994, de Radiguès on race cars and won the 1998 BMW 24 - hour race at Spa-Francorchamps. In 2001 he won in the category of LMP 675 the American Le Mans Series.

He also operates a motorcycle racing school today.
