Didier Mollard

Didier Mollard ( born December 4, 1969 in Chambéry ) is a French former ski jumper.

On December 22, 1985 Mollard made ​​his debut in the World Cup Ski Jumping. He has already won his first World Cup points on the normal hill in his home with 11th place also. On January 19, 1986, he jumped into Oberwiesenthal first time in the top ten and finished fourth. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1987 in Oberstdorf, he jumped on the 51st place of the 46 normal and on the place of the large hill. In the first event after the World Cup on March 4, 1987 in Örnsköldsvik he could jump with space 3 for the first time in his career on the podium. In the following years he was able to achieve this placement three more times.

Mollard was part of the squad for the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Canada. He was able to achieve on the normal hill on points with Poland Jan Kowal 34th place. From the large hill he was at the end points with the German Peter Rohwein on the 25th place. In the Ski Flying World Championships 1990 in Vikersund Mollard flew on the 34th place.

Despite rather varying performance in the World Cup, Mollard was at the Olympic Winter Games in 1992 again to the French squad. From the normal hill Mollard it jumped on the 8th and on the large hill on the 40th place. In the team competition, he reached the 10th place jointly with Jerome Gay, Nicolas Jean- Prost and Steve Delaup.
