Diefenbach
Diefenbach is a municipality in the district of Bernkastel -Wittlich, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Kröv - Bausendorf.
Geography
The municipality is situated on the edge of the Eifel on Demichbach in a tributary of Alf. 63 percent of the district area is forested. Nearest regional center is in the south of Wittlich.
History
Beginning in 1794, Diefenbach under French rule, 1815, the place on the Congress of Vienna was assigned to the Kingdom of Prussia. Since 1946 he is part of Rhineland- Palatinate then newly founded.
