Willwerscheid
Willwerscheid is a municipality in the district of Bernkastel -Wittlich, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Kröv - Bausendorf.
Geography
Willwerscheid belongs to the region of Trier and is located about eight kilometers northeast of Wittlich in the volcanic Eifel. 62 percent of the district area is forested.
History
Beginning in 1794, Willwerscheid under French rule, 1815, the place on the Congress of Vienna was assigned to the Kingdom of Prussia. Since 1946 he is part of Rhineland- Palatinate then newly founded.
Parish council
The local council in Willwerscheid consists of six council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

Southwest of the local church, the Federal Highway runs 1 In nearby Hasborn there is a driveway. In Wittlich is a station of the Mosel route.
