Dietmar Schwager

Dietmar Schwager ( born August 15, 1940) is a former German football player and coach. As a player, he acted in defense.

Life

Brother in law played in his career for the VfR Kaiserslautern and 1964 to 1976 for the 1st FC Kaiserslautern. For the club, he played 320 league games, in which two goals get him. He has to have the second- most league games for the first FCK by Werner Melzer.

As a coach, he began to work in 1975 and assisted in the season 1975/76 the amateurs of the 1st FC Kaiserslautern. Then he oversaw 1976-1977 and 1977-1979 Borussia Neunkirchen. He was then 04 assistant of ex- FCK coach Gyula Lóránt at FC Schalke. In December 1979, Schwager Lóránt heir in his office and was in turn dismissed after a series of seven winless league games in April 1980. His successor was Fahrudin Jusufi. In the 1980/81 season Schwager trained FSV Frankfurt in the 2nd Bundesliga Süd. In the summer of 1990, he was again coach the FCK amateurs. This work he carried out until the winter break 1991/92.

Brother in law had a lottery outlet in Kaiserslautern.
