Dijon FCO

Dijon Football Côte- d'Or is a French football club based in Dijon, the capital of the French department of Côte- d'Or in the Burgundy countryside.

History

It was founded in 1936 as Cercle Laïque Dijonnais. This was the name of the club until 1991, he was called Cercle Football Dijonnais and took after fusion with Dijon FC in 1998 to its present name. The club colors are red and white; league team plays in urban Parc des Sports ( Stade Gaston Gérard ), which has a capacity of 15,000 seats.

Club president is Olivier Delcourt; the first team is coached by Olivier Dall'Oglio who has been in office since June 2012. (August 2013)

League membership

Professional status Dijon has only since 2004. First class (Division 1 since 2002 in Ligue 1 renamed) played the club for the first time in its history in the 2011/12 season, but only for one year.
