Lohberg is a district of the Lower Rhine, district town Dinslaken, and at its core a miners' settlement, which is known for its now disused colliery.

History

Lohberg was born in 1907 in the Hiesfelder peasantry at the foot of the upper Lohberg for the workers and employees of Lohberg.

The architecturally interesting settlement was built on the concept of a garden city until 1924. Further plans that would have led to a much larger settlement, were placed on ice.
