District Council of Ceduna

Ceduna is the westernmost LGA of South Australia and is located approximately 450 km east of the border on the Far West Coast of Eyre Peninsula to Western Australia and 550 km as the crow northwest of the city of Adelaide. The area includes 23 districts and towns: Bonython, Carawa, Ceduna, Charra, Chinta, Denial Bay, Goode, Kalanbi, Koonibba, Laura Bay, Maltee, Merghiny, Mudamuckla, Murat Bay, Nunjikompita, Petina, Pimbaacla, Puntabie, Smoky Bay, Thevenard, Uworra, Wallanippie and Wandana.

The administrative headquarters of the council is located in the town of Ceduna on the south coast of the LGA.

Management

The Council of Ceduna has nine members, eight councilor and the chairman and Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council are elected by the residents of the LGA. Ceduna is not divided into districts.
