District Council of Elliston

Elliston is on the Eyre peninsula on the Great Australian Bight about 370 km as the crow northwest of the city of Adelaide. The area includes 16 districts and towns: Bramfield, Colton, Elliston, Kopi, Lock, McLachlan, Mount Damper Mount Wedge, Murdinga, Polda, Port Kenny, Sheringa, Talia, Tooligie, Venus Bay and Warrachie. The administrative headquarters of the council is located in the coastal town of Elliston.

Management

The Council of Elliston has eight members, seven Councillor and the Chairman and Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council are elected by the residents of the LGA. Elliston is not divided into districts.
