Lower Eyre Peninsula is located on the southwest tip of the Eyre Peninsula and is about 270 km as the crow northwest of the city of Adelaide. The area includes 39 districts and towns: Big Swamp, Boston, Brimpton Lake, Charlton Gully, Coffin Bay, Coomunga, Coulta, Cummins, Edillilie, Flinders, Green Patch, Kapinnie, Karkoo, Kiana, Lake Wangary, Lincoln, Little Swamp, Louth, Louth Bay, Mitchell, Mortlock, Mount Drummond, Mount Dutton Bay, Mount Hope, North Shields, Poonindie, Proper Bay, Shannon, Sleaford, Sleaford Bay, Stamford, Death River ( reservoir ), Tulka, Uley, Ulipa, Wangary, Wanilla, Warrow, White Flat and Yeelanna. The administrative headquarters of the council is in Cummins in the northeast of the LGA.

Management

The Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula has seven members, six councilor and the chairman and Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council are elected by the residents of the LGA. Lower Eyre Peninsula is not divided into districts.
